TopAmp is the finest op-amp available for audio applications, providing superior sound quality.
TopAmp is a Discrete Audio Operational Amplifier that uses pure Class-A circuitry from input to output, designed to re-capture the clarity and character of classic audio recordings from the 1960’s and 1970’s

Derived from a long-held understanding that where sonic fidelity is concerned, “less is more”, the TopAmp uses the absolute minimum of components necessary to achieve the performance expected from a modern op-amp in terms of noise, distortion and power supply rejection.

When operated at ±24V, input and output signals of +26dBu are accommodated. Even at maximum signal level, distortion is only 0.004% and is mostly second harmonic.

TopAmp is used in all Interphase Audio products, and is largely responsible for the exceptional sound quality of our products

With the TopAmp 99 adaptor, the TopAmp can be retrofitted to any existing audio equipment designed to accept the industry-standard 2520 / 990 footprint, upgrading that equipment with the superior TopAmp sound quality.
