Instrument Amplifier with attitude


Zinc is a universal instrument amplifier which can be used with any source.

The instrument amp uses the input from the Octa / 500 rack, and has a gain range of 40 dB to allow fine level control.
Switching to the Z-in on the front panel, the input gain is boosted an extra 20 dB

The glow function can be active on either input and uses our Transformer based Harmonics Generator circuit to add 2nd and 3rd harmonics distortion.
A load of character and attitude. Dial in just a tiny bit, or go all the way. Try it !

The Z-In Ω rotary switch changes the input impedance of the Z-input, actually changing the tone.
This is most effective on electric guitar, but can be used on anything you like.

Zinc features our reference bargraph meter, which is also available as Barium

Zinc is available as Octa or 500 module, with “Silver” or “Black” faceplate
