Two headphones can be connected, each having their own level control.

For exceptional fidelity, we suggest to use Lead Octa with our Octa Rack,
so the module runs on +/- 24 volts, and you’ll get the best dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio.
Alternatively, you can use the Lead 500 version, and use this with any 500-series rack. But since 500 modules only run on +/- 16 volts, you’ll unfortunately loose some dynamic range and SN ratio.

As you know, Octa / 500 modules are single-channel.
To get 2-channels in (left / right) Lead comes with an XLR Female-to-Female adapter for your Octa / 500 rack.
Left channel comes from the input, right channel comes from the output (using the adapter).
This is for both headphone outputs.

Alternatively, using the respective mono switches, Lead can be used as a dual-channel unit.
When HP1 mono is activated only left input gets used and is send to both left and right output of headphone 1.
When HP2 mono is activated only right input gets used and is send to both left and right output of headphone 2.

Lead is available as Octa or 500 module, with “Silver” or “Black” faceplate
