Carbon

4-band Capacitive Equaliser

Carbon is your basic building block, your “go to” EQ
With its four large overlapping frequency bands you can go wild with this EQ.

Capacitor based EQ circuits are the “classic” equaliser design, as used in a lot of well known EQ’s.
Carbon is our quality take on this classic EQ.

Carbon is a full Class-A, discrete design, and all components have been carefully chosen and matched to provide an extremely musical sound.
Like all our products, Carbon features wonderful sound and easy-to-use functionality.

The four EQ bands have large overlapping frequency controls, making it well-suited for minimising problematic frequencies, or giving an extra boost to others.
The HF and LF band can be used as either shelf or peak, for extra punch, dimension or control of high- and low-end.

HF Band:
sweeps the high frequency from 1.2 kHz to 22 kHz. This band also offers a Peak / Shelf switch.
HM Band:
sweeps the high-mid frequency from 0.5 kHz to 8 kHz.
LM Band:
sweeps the lo-mid frequency from 100 Hz to 1.8 kHz
LF Band:
sweeps the low frequency from 25 Hz to 440 Hz. This band also offers a Peak / Shelf switch

Each band can be cut or boost with as much as 15dB per band.

Carbon is available as Octa module or as 500 module, with “Silver” or “Black” faceplate
Details on the difference between Octa and 500 modules, can be found at our our
Octa page
